Walk-Run for Hope slated for June 1

OSWEGO, NY – The 5K Walk/Run for Hope is slated for June 1 at the Wright’s Landing Pavilion.

The walk/run is part of the 14th Annual Oswego County Hospice Cup Regatta. Money raised from the event supports Oswego County Hospice patients and their families.

Registration forms for the Walk/Run for Hope are available at the Oswego and Fulton YMCAs and at the Friends of Hospice office at 34 E. Bridge St. in Oswego.

Registration is $15. The first 100 registrants receive a free T-shirt.

Registrations will also be accepted on the day of the race.

As an incentive to obtain financial sponsors for the Walk/Run for Hope, the entrant who raises the most money will receive to free tickets to the Hospice Regatta Reception, slated for 4 p.m. on June 1 at the Oswego Yacht Club.

The Walk/Run for Hope starts with registration and check in at 8:30 a.m.; the race begins at 9 a.m. at the pavilion at Wright’s Landing.
