FULTON, NY – Fulton Noon Rotary Club president Lori Greeney had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Jeannette d’Angles de Escobedo from Peru at a recent meeting.
Dr. Escobedo and her husband, Dr. Edison Escobedo, stopped in Fulton on their way home from a medical conference in Toronto.
Dr. Jeannette lived in Fulton with the Ruta family, for a year, as a Rotary Exchange student, 45 years ago.
Marysia Ruta Czachor, who’s husband, Ray, is a member of the Fulton Rotary Club entertained the Escobedo’s during their Fulton stay.
Dr. Escobedo talked about how her year as a Rotary exchange student affected her life.
