FULTON – Oswego Health and Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) are inviting community members to attend The Women’s Wellness Social, a free evening focused on women’s health, wellness, and self-care, on Thursday, October 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fulton Medical Center.
The event will bring together local health and wellness organizations for an uplifting, community-centered evening featuring wellness talks, health screenings, movement activities, an oxygen bar, refreshments, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with local resources.
“The Women’s Wellness Social is designed to make preventive health information and wellness resources easy to access in one friendly, welcoming place,” said Carolyn Handville, Coordinator of OCO’s Cancer Services Program. “We want women to take a well-deserved pause, reconnect with their health, and leave feeling informed, supported, and encouraged.”

- Registration: Encouraged; the first 50 women who pre-register will receive a complimentary goody bag.
What Attendees Can Expect
Attendees can take part in wellness activities including Zumba, yoga, and an oxygen bar, access convenient on-site health and wellness screenings; attend brief expert-led wellness talks; and explore community resources focused on mind, body, and overall well-being. Light appetizers, refreshments, and giveaways will also be available.

- 5:00–7:00 p.m. — Oxygen Bar with The Aqua Spa
- 5:00–5:30 p.m. — Zumba with Jonathan, Conference Room
- 6:00–6:30 p.m. — Zumba with Jonathan, Conference Room
- 6:00–6:15 p.m. — Yoga with Rebecca Craig, Lower Atrium
- 6:15–6:30 p.m. — Medium, Angela Richardson
The event will feature local organizations supporting women’s health and wellness, including Oswego Health, OCO’s Cancer Services Program of the North Country, Friends of Recovery, Peaceful Remedies, Fulton YMCA, OCO SAF, OCO Options, OCO Health Education, Hooter Crew, Hope for Heather, Vocal Honey, and meal-prepping resources for busy women on the go.
