In recent weeks, the artwork of Oswego students has been display at numerous businesses throughout the Oswego City School District.

However, every day the pieces of art created by elementary and secondary children are on world wide display at Artsonia.com

Minetto art teacher Crystal Mason said, “For the week of Dec. 6-12 Danielle had her work seen and received 1,106 votes from website visitors. This resulted in her being named the ‘Artist of the Week’ for fourth through sixth graders.”

In recognition of the fourth grader’s accomplishment Blick Art Materials generously donated $100 gift certificates to the winning teachers as well as $50 in art supplies to the winning artist.

Artsonia is an international children’s on-line art exhibit that features more than six million pieces of art.

Every Oswego school participates in this project and this allows for the work of hundreds of students to be displayed.

DelConte not only had the opportunity for her work to be on display, but also was rewarded for her efforts. missing or outdated ad config
