Young Artists Get Creative Spark at Camp, Thanks to Fulton Savings Bank!

FULTON – Calling all budding Picassos and Monets! Get ready to unleash your inner artist this summer at the CNY Art Center’s exciting Summer Camp program! Thanks to a generous scholarship donation from Fulton Savings Bank, even more kids can explore the world of art and express themselves creatively. Classes run for 4 weeks starting July 22, 2024 and end August 16th.  Open from 8-5 with a variety of classes to choose from.  Free Breakfast provided by OCO Health & nutrition, free lunch at noon (cooked by students and staff, with a free art class from 12:30- 2 daily.

The camp is designed for children ages 5-16, but open to any school aged child enrolled in school, offers a variety of fun and engaging activities, including:

  • Visual Arts: Experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, sewing, crocheting, woodworking and crafts! Learn from talented instructors and create masterpieces inspired by anything from famous artists to your own backyard.
  • Theater: Step into the spotlight! Learn about acting, improvisation, singing, choreographed dance moves, set design, and costume creation. Prepare for a show-stopping performance at the end of each week of camp! Including a Tech Class!
  • Music: Make beautiful sounds! Learn to play instruments and discover the joy of music composition. And perform what you learned on Friday – the stage is yours!
    · Cooking: Get creative in the kitchen! Learn basic culinary skills, explore different flavors, and whip up delicious dishes. Who knows, you might even discover your inner Gordon Ramsay! All meals made are served daily to all participants.
