FULTON, NY – This summer, Great Bear Recreational Area has the opportunity to have a group from the Oswego County Youth Conservation Corps working on trail repairs and maintenance, building bridges and doing other environmental projects.
Along with providing jobs for our county youths and residents, the goals of the Youth Conservation Corps are to teach teamwork, job skills and environmental stewardship and conservation.
Pictured here, having just completed building a bridge, are crew supervisors Kevin Watkins and Greg Forbes with crew, Anna, Jordan, Lynn and Tyler.
