FULTON, NY – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Linda Rossiter, right, introduced Heather Tebidor from Youth Works a division of Oswego County Workforce New York.
Tebidor spoke about the numerous ways Youth Works helps youth from ages 16-21 prepare for and enter the workforce.
Youth Works assists young people who wish to complete high school, get occupational training and enter college.
They offer a variety of workshops on preparing for employment.
Opportunities for job shadowing, internships, driver’s education, paid and unpaid work experiences, and summer employment are available to youth through this service.
The Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s.
