Country Cruizers Car Club Presents Donation

HANNIBAL – The Country Cruizers Car Club presented a donation of $1,000 to the Hannibal Chapter of Dollars for Scholars for two scholarships.

Dollars for Scholars is a subsidiary of Scholarship America.

The Hannibal chapter raises money through various fundraising activities, most notably the annual Ducks over the Dam race, which will be held July 19.

Donations and bequests are also welcome and are tax deductible.

The money raised is used provide scholarships to graduating seniors from Hannibal High School.

This year, a total of sixteen $500 scholarships were awarded, including two funded by generous donations from the Country Cruizers.

The members of the Country Cruizers Car Club enjoy their antique and street rod vehicles, but also strongly value community service.

The club has supported Dollars for Scholars for a number of years and also supports the local food pantries with donations each year.
