FULTON, NY – CYO Program Coordinator, George Timmins announced that the CYO program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County would be extending its hours and offering additional gym time for the upcoming spring break.
The CYO program will be open March 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and April 1 through 5 from noon to 7 p.m. Youth will have full access to the CYO gym, game room, and arts and crafts room.
“We have extended our CYO hours for the spring break and we are looking forward to youth visiting the CYO to enjoy some fun with their friends throughout the week of spring break,” said CYO coordinator George Timmins.
Timmins added that a schedule of CYO day-to-day activities is available from any CYO staff member and is posted on the CYO communication board that is located inside the entrance to the CYO facility.
“I encourage area youth who have yet to visit the CYO to stop in over spring break discover all that the CYO program has to offer,” said Timmins.
The CYO program, funded in part by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services through the Oswego City / County Youth Bureau, has designed a variety of activities to aid in the recreational development of youth in Fulton, as well as the surrounding communities of Oswego County.
All activities are free of charge and are supervised by a trained staff.
Regular hours for CYO are Monday through Friday 3 – 7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for grades 2 – 12.
