Katelyn Kane would lead the opening six-laps of the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified feature before Joe August took over the top spot on lap-seven. August’s lead was short lived when Billy Decker using the top of the speedway shot by August to be scored the new leader one lap later.

With 15-Laps showing on the scoring tower, Decker built up a full straightaway lead over the field. Behind Decker, Adam Roberts and Chuck Bower battled for second with Jimmy Phelps from thirteenth and Larry Wight from fifteenth were coming quickly through the field in the top-five.

By lap-twenty, Decker was still on cruise control putting cars a lap down as the laps clicked off. Roberts and Bower were still putting on a show for second and third and coming quickly was Wight with Phelps in fifth.

With ten-laps to go and no yellows to bunch the field up, Decker maintained his big lead. Wight worked his way by Bower and Roberts to move into the runner-up spot and Phelps still showed on the scoring tower in fifth.

Over the remaining laps with no cautions Decker was first under the checkers. Larry Wight, Chuck Bower, Jimmy Phelps and Adam Roberts rounded out the top-five. Tom Sears Jr., Rob Bellinger, Pat Ward, Tim Sears Jr. and Chad Phelps completed the top-ten.

“I had a pretty good starting spot and a great race car. The Gypsum Wholesalers car was spot on,” Billy Decker said after parking his No.91, Bicknell in victory lane for the second time this season at the Fulton Speedway. “The track had two lanes tonight. It’s fun racing when it’s like that. I want to thank K-ROCK and all the fans for coming out tonight.”

Todd Root led the opening four-laps of the 25-Lap SUNY Canton Sportsman feaure till a caution slowed the field down. On the restart Jordan Bennett using the top of the speedway bolted by Root to be scored the new leader on lap-five.

With ten-laps complete Bennett opened a lead of ten car lengths as Root, Jeremy Dygert, Mike Button, Jeremy Pitcher and Tony Finch II fought for second through sixth.

On lap-15 Bennett was still showing the way out front setting a quick pace about a half-a-straightaway ahead before a yellow would erase Bennett’s advantage.

On lap-seventeen Mike Button took over second and took off after Bennett. With five-laps to go the whole complexion of the race changed when Bennett suddenly slowed with victory within sight ending his night. This would setup a dash to the finish between Button, Pitcher, Finch and Schneider the four fastest cars on the track.

Over the remaining laps Pitcher could hang with Button but couldn’t get by as Button was the first under the checkers. Finch, Schneider and Dygert crossed the line three-wide for third through fifth. Ron Davis III, Rocco Leone, Jason Occhino, Gregg Kimball and Brandon Ford completed he top-ten.

In the 20-Lap NAPA Late Model feature, Dave Talbot would lead the first three-laps before AJ Kingsley took over the top-spot. While Kingsley was out front leading Tim Sears Jr. was working his way forward moving into second on lap-seven. From lap-seven till lap-thirteen Sears hounded Kingsley till grabbing the lead on lap-fourteen. Once out front Sears drove away for the win. AJ Kingsley, Rick Miller, Alan Fink and Johnny Hill rounded out the top-five.

Amy Holland and Brett Draper would swap the lead back and forth before Draper took over the lead for good on lap-seven in the 15-Lap E&V Energy Novice Sportsman feature. Mike Taylor, Trevor Lindsey, Brenton Joy and Amy Holland rounded out the top-five.

Chuck Powelczyk took the lead from Mark Johnston on lap-four and then went onto the win the 15-Lap Hilton’s Automotive Four Cylinder feature. Justin Buske, Mark Johnston, David Denova and Jeremy Lueck chased Powelczyk across the line.
