One of the top stories in Friday night’s testing lineup is the debut of Graham/Strong Racing’s new Xtreme chassis Supermodified for New Jersey driving ace Joey Payne.  Payne has driven the majority of the season in the Strong Racing No. 99 driven last year by Michael Barnes, but Payne is excited to test the new Xtreme machine Friday night with plans of debuting the car in race trim during the Summer Championship Saturday.

Rookie Mike Barbera plans to make a return in his Muldoon chassis on Friday night.  Barbera, who drove the car on June 21 as No. 20, will come back to the Speedway this week as No. 45 with Top Quality Construction colors flying on his roadster.

Defending Small Block Super champion Russ Brown will be back with the Hedger No. 13 for his second Fast Friday session of the season.  If all goes well, indications are that Brown will enter his first race of the season on Saturday night in preparation for the Mr. Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super event as well as the Bud Light Small Block Super Classic.
