The hot horns and cool sounds of Classified will heat up Fulton’s Jazz Fast when the popular party band brings its high energy show to the Jazz Fest stage with a live performance at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th.

Formed in the early 90’s the band brought together a number of talented Central New York musicians who had performed with some of the top acts in the area. The collective resume of the members was so long that it looked like a ‘classified’ ad, as a result the name Classified stuck and the band began its mission of EOE, equal opportunity entertainment for all.

Classified has been voted the number one group in the Utica area by readers of the Observer Dispatch and has performed with or shared the bill with many international artists, including Maynard Ferguson, Benny Mardones, Rare Earth, Eddie Money, KC & the Sunshine Band, Jason Masalis, Gap Mangione and Earth, Wind & Fire to name a few. The abilities of the members of Classified encompass all styles of music, making them one of the most sought after acts in Central New York. Their exciting performance will be one of the highlights of Jazz Fest.

Scheduled for August 7th & 8th Jazz Fest, coordinated the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fulton, and sponsored by Eagle Beverage and Budweiser, features two days of food, fun, and music from some of Central New York’s hottest musicians.
