PHOENIX, NY – The Phoenix Central School District recently held its annual districtwide Art Show at John C. Birdlebough High School, showcasing the creative talents of students from all grade levels.
The art show served as a celebration of creativity and expression, with halls transformed into galleries that reflected the hard work, imagination, and skill of Phoenix students. Artwork spanned a wide variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and digital design.
A highlight of the evening was a sale of hand-crafted ceramic bowls made by students. All proceeds from the sale were donated to Erin’s Angels, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity among children in the Phoenix community. The fundraiser added a meaningful philanthropic element to the event and demonstrated the district’s ongoing commitment to giving back.
“Our art show is always a special event, but this year’s turnout and community support made it truly exceptional,” said district art teachers. “Not only did we get to honor our students’ creativity, but we also came together as a community to support an important cause. That’s what Phoenix is all about.”
