Auditions for HAUNTED HEARTS at The Art Scene at CNY Art Center in Fulton

FULTON – On Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 at 6 pm there will be open auditions for Haunted Hearts, a brand new play that is a recipient of the CNY Arts 2026 Statewide Community Regrants Award.  Haunted Hearts is written by the husband-wife team of Juliet & Keith Giglio.  The play is about a ghost-loving curator and an on-the-rise news reporter who get possessed by meddling ’70s disco spirits through enchanted mood rings, totally wrecking their lives and careers until the ghosts successfully play matchmaker.

The Giglios are thrilled to return to The Art Scene at CNY Art Center with this new play, following the successful debut of last year’s Christmas play, ‘Dis the Season.  Juliet & Keith are veteran screenwriters/producers with credits that include:  Cinderella Story, Tarzan, Return to Halloweentown, Noah and numerous Christmas movies including Christmas in Tune with Reba McEntire.   

The directors are also a husband-and-wife team.  Glen Merrill (director), is a long-time veteran of many CNY theatre productions as a performer, musician, technician and director, returning to directing after thirty years. His wife, Nicole Merrill, (assistant director) is a veteran actress in Canada and the U.S.

Auditions will be held at the Art Scene at CNY Art Center at 121 Cayuga in Fulton.   Show Performance dates include September 17, 18, 19 at 7 pm and  September 20th @2 pm.  There are lots of roles!  Don’t miss the opportunity to try out for a new rom-com!
