OSWEGO – The Oswego Players announce auditions for their September production, Jack Sharkey’s “While the Lights Were Out.” Auditions will be held on Friday, June 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Francis Marion Brown Theater on Barbara Donahue Drive in Oswego.
There are parts for eight women and five men aged 20 to 60. The audition will be a cold read from the play script.
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, July 23 and continue every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
“While the Lights Were Out” is an astounding and hilarious murder mystery. It’s plot twists furiously with a final solution involving a bizarre motive.
Show dates for “While the Lights Were Out” are planned for September 6-8 and 13-15. The production will be directed by Sherri Metz and presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
