OSWEGO, NY – Aztec Two-Step’s Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman commemorated the band’s 40th anniversary by recording the new CD, Cause & Effect, released in January, 2012.
It is a 16-song collection of re-worked and previously unrecorded songs of social significance.

Performing with longtime friend, bassist Fred Holman, both on the CD and in concert, Rex and Neal will revisit older “give a damn” songs and debut new topical material from their vast and varied musical canon to create what will be a very special evening.
They will take the stage at 8 p.m. on April 28 at the Oswego Music Hall, 41 Lake St.
Tickets are $14 advance and $16 at the door.

Aztec Two-Step’s name comes from a Lawrence Ferlinghetti poem and since 1971 Fowler and Shulman have been writing and performing songs that helped make their generation’s musical memories.
