Camp Hollis Hosts Winter Festival Feb. 16

OSWEGO — All Oswego County youth and families are invited to the Hollis Winter Festival for sledding, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Camp Hollis in the Town of Oswego. The free event is organized by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Activities will include sledding, snowshoeing, sports in the snow, snow sculpturing, arts and crafts and an iced penny hunt. An outdoor campfire will be the setting for a sing-along marshmallow roast. Lunch will be served for all participants.

Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hollis Winter Festival is primarily an outside event, so warm dress is suggested.

Camp Hollis is located in southwest Oswego, on County Route 89 off NYS Route 104 West. Free parking is available. There is no charge for this event. Donations for future fun events will be accepted.

Pre-registration is not required. For more information, contact the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau at 349-3451, or email [email protected]. In case of inclement weather, please contact the Youth Bureau to make sure Hollis Winter Festival will still be held.
