OSWEGO — Concinnity, the select women’s group, invites the public to its Christmas Concert at 3:00 on Sunday, December 8, at Faith United Church. The building is fully accessible and is located near Oswego Middle School, at 12 Mark Fitzgibbons Drive, Oswego, NY 13126, and there is ample parking.
The concert, Season of Light, has been planned to start the holiday season with a collection of songs, both beautiful and whimsical, featuring favorites such as Angels (a medley of Angels from the Realms of Glory and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing), O Come All Ye Faithful, The Wexford Carol, and Silent Night, as well as a few light-hearted looks at Christmas that may be recalled from days gone by.
Mary Lou Bjorkman, director, invites all to “take a break from the hustle, bustle and busy-ness of this time of year to relax and enjoy the music.” While there is no admission charge for the concert, a free will donation will be gratefully accepted to enable Concinnity co continue providing concerts of beautiful music.
