‘Crazy For You’ Gearing Up For Faust Stage

OSWEGO, NY – The music of George Gershwin and lyrics of Ira Gershwin will flood the stage of the Oswego High School Ralph Faust Theatre of the Performing Arts on Feb. 5-6 at 7:30 p.m.

'Crazy For You'Once again the students of Oswego High School will be presenting another outstanding musical as “Crazy for You” is this year’s show.

Songs such as “I Got Rhythm,” “Bidin’ My Time,” “Embraceable You,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” and many more tunes pack this lively show.

The Oswego High School cast, under the direction of Eve Phillips and the musical leadership of Veronica Shaver, has been rehearsing for several weeks in preparation for this year’s performances.

The cast includes Tyler Spicer (Bobby), Jeremy Gosek (Bella Zangler), Danielle Posillipo (Irene Roth), Aryelle Caruso (Mother), Annie Taverni (Tess) and Shaunghnessy Darro (Perkins).

The show moves from New York to Deadrock, Nevada, where the earlier members of the cast are joined by Chelsea Johnson (Polly Baker), Nathan Westcott (Lank Hawkins), John Chatterton (Everett Baker), Raquelle Moreau and Norman Berlin III (Eugene Fodor), and Kathryn Lombardo (Patricia Fodor).

The “Follies Girls” include Erin McIntosh, Eve Simmonds, Hannah Allen, Alyssa Bornoheimer, Chandler Caroccio, Julie Delles, Tiffany Green, Maddi Neuland and Mackenzie Stone-Sweeting; while the “showgirls” are Jane Coty, Tara Fresch, Jessica Krauss and Rebecca Smith.

The “Cowboy Trio” consists of Josh Ewig, Rudy Rodriguez and Joe Ruggio.

The other cowboys will be Jake Behr, Cameron Caruso, Ben Harrington, Matt McLaughlin, Khali Rivera, John Samson and Nick Williams.

The citizens of Deadrock include Norman Berlin III, Natalie Emmons, Cali Harrington, Adrienne MacDougall, Lizz Richmond, Alexis Rodriguez, Katie Schermerhorn, Kaela Shaefer and Elizabeth Wild.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and $7 for students (K-12).

Reservations can be made by calling 342-2432 and leaving a message as you will be asked to leave your name (spell clearly), phone number, the day of the show you want to attend and the number and type of tickets you need.
