The unique sounds of Oswego’s own Doc Apple will add to the musical flavor of the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival with a live performance at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4th in Washington Square Park in Oswego.

Originally formed in the early ‘90’s as a folk-rock cover band, Doc Apple, who was heavily influenced by the music of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan, and The Band. As the band began performing their own original music their popularity grew as people were drawn to the positive vibes and danceable grooves of the bands music. During their performance at the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival, Doc Apple will perform a variety of selections from their extensive catalogue of original music including tunes from their critically acclaimed CDs, Hope and Now & Then. Over the years Doc Apple has toured throughout New York State and New England and has performed with national acts such as The Spin Doctors, Hot Tuna, New Riders of the Purple Sage and the original members of the Grateful Dead. The band is currently performing throughout Central New York and is working on the release of new music later this fall.
