FULTON, NY – Members of the Fulton Community Theatre are putting the final touches on the musical arrangements for the upcoming encore performances of their Evening on Broadway concert series.
The series, which opened Nov. 13, will continue with performances scheduled for Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St.
“A Lovely Night…The Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein” is an entertaining evening of cabaret style concert performances that highlight the wide array of outstanding Broadway music written by the famous team of Rodgers & Hammerstein.
The ensemble cast performs music from classic Broadway shows such as Carousel, The Sound of Music, State Fair, Oklahoma, Flower Drum Song, The King and I, Cinderella, Me and Juliet, and South Pacific.
Boasting a cast of five women and five men, the show features vocalists from Fulton, Oswego, Syracuse, Phoenix, and Pennellville.
Cast members include Beth DeRousie, Mike Bolio, Warren Blanchard, Amy Brown, Molly Brown, Dale Gallonio, William Edward (Bill) White, Dan Williams, Marsha Preston and Kathy DeGolyer.
Accompanist and assistant musical director for the show is Abel Searor.
Everyone attending is asked to please bring an unwrapped toy with them to the performance.
Fulton Community Theatre will be donating all toys collected at the performances to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
The toys will be distributed during the Christmas holidays as part of the agency’s “Let’s Give for a Kid” toy drive.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students.
Dessert will be served during intermission.
