Ryan Fitzsimmons, originally from central New York, first gained attention at age 14 playing lead guitar in an alternative rock band Anodyne, which was nominated for a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY). But after performing in a number of electric bands, Ryan decided to give up the amplifiers to see what he could do with just wood and steel and voice. What he discovered in performing solo with an acoustic guitar was an intimacy and nuance he found instantly inspiring. Ftizsimmons will perform two concerts on Friday, July 23 at 1 PM and at 5 PM.

The Love Volcanoes formed in Oswego in the late months of 2007. What started as a few acoustical song-writing sessions between Adam Michalski (guitar) and former Jomama and Soultrane drummer Jerritt Wahrendorf, has grown into a quintet of talented musicians. This electric arrangement has grown into an impressive live experience highlighted with intense jamming and beautiful vocal harmonies. Love Volcanoes will perform on the Veteran’s Stage in Riverwalk West at 3 PM on Friday, July 23.

Indie pop rock duo SIRSY’s fiery, sultry, and soulful sound, is a musical breathe of fresh air in the too often homogenized landscape of Indie rock. Despite the musical multi-tasking on stage, SIRSY’s live show is passionate, energetic, and always about connecting with their audience. SIRSY is fronted by the charismatic Melanie Krahmer who critics call a girl with a “stunning voice capable of a lion’s roar and a floaty whisper”… a girl “with the lungs of a teenage athlete and the growl of a sixty-something blues singer”. SIRSY will close out the Friday concerts at Riverwalk West with a 7 PM performance.
