Fulton Community Band July 26 Concert Features Music of Glenn Miller, Sousa

The Fulton Community Band will present their 3rd concert of the season next Thursday, July 26, 7PM, at the Bullhead Point Pavilion, it was announced by Carol Fox, director.  Featured on this concert are several familiar pieces including the music of Glenn Miller, Leroy Anderson, John Philip Sousa and George Gershwin. The band will also perform the Holst  First Suite in Eb and a special tune celebrating July birthdays!  “To honor and remember Fulton’s Irish tenor Jack Walsh, ‘Lord of the Dance’ will be featured,” Fox said.

The 4th concert will be presented on Thursday, August 2 at the Bullhead Point Pavilion and feature music by Frank Sinatra, Scott Joplin and Broadway show tunes.  For information, contact Fox at 591-3392.
