CLAY, NY – Great Northern Artists Collaborative (GNAC) Theater is proud to present Ken Ludwig’s Leading Ladies, a high-energy farce brimming with romance, mistaken identities, and laugh-out-loud comedy.

In the spirit of Mrs. Doubtfire, Tootsie, and Some Like It Hot, Leading Ladies follows two struggling Shakespearean actors, two guys with more nerve than sense, who stumble upon a golden opportunity: a wealthy woman searching for her long-lost nieces. Their solution… become the nieces themselves. What begins as a simple scheme quickly unravels into a whirlwind of wigs, wild improvisation, romantic entanglements, and perfectly timed chaos.

Audiences can expect a joyful evening of physical comedy, quick wit, and escalating absurdity as doors slam, identities blur, and the stakes grow higher with every scene. At its heart, Leading Ladies is a story about friendship, ambition, and just how far someone will go for a chance at success, even if it means stepping into a very unfamiliar pair of heels.

Leading Ladies is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

Performances will be held May 1st and 2nd at 7:00 p.m. and May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. on the Great Northern Artists Collaborative stage at 8396 Morgan Road in Clay. Tickets for the show are $15.00 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets are available online at ticketor.com/gnac or by calling the box office at 315-464-0328.
