The sounds of rock ‘n’ roll oldies and country music will fill the air during the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival as the band Halfway to Nowhere, featuring Oswego Idol, Tammy Stewart, will be performing throughout the day on Sunday, October 5th.
The 15th Annual Central New York Great Pumpkin Fest will be held on Saturday, October 4th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, October 5th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Washington Square Park in Oswego.
The Great Pumpkin Weigh-In will take place on Saturday, October 4th beginning at 10:00 am. The giant pumpkins will be on display at the Great Pumpkin Fest Saturday only.
The two-day event will also feature a wide variety of entertainment and activities including:
-         Air Hops, and Face Painting for the kids
-         Wine & Cheese Tasting
-         Arts & Crafts Vendors
-         The Corn Maze
-         Carnival Rides & Games
-         50 / 50 Raffle
Other entertainers scheduled to perform include:
-         Silver Spur, 11am – 1:00 pm Saturday
-         Doc Apple, 1 – 3 pm Saturday
-         The James Bones, 3 – 6 pm Saturday
