OSWEGO, – As Harborfest prepares to welcome thousands of visitors to Oswego’s waterfront July 23–26, the board is proud to recognize the businesses, organizations, community leaders and dedicated members whose generosity helps make one of Upstate New York’s premier summer festivals possible. For 37 years, that support has helped keep Harborfest free to attend while bringing nationally recognized entertainment, family programming, waterfront attractions, memorable community experiences and the festival’s signature Fireworks Spectacular by Grucci over Lake Ontario to the region.
“Harborfest 2026 continues to be a free festival thanks to all of our sponsors and individual members,” said Chuck Handley, Harborfest Board President. “We want to thank our Platinum Sponsors — Constellation, Pathfinder Bank, Novelis and Alpha Generation — for continuing their support of the festival. Every sponsor plays an important role in Harborfest, and we encourage festivalgoers to look for their digital signs and banners throughout the grounds and support them year-round. We also invite everyone to visit our new website, consider becoming an individual member, and help keep the festival going strong.”
“Harborfest is only possible because of the generosity of our corporate sponsors, whose support keeps this beloved tradition free and accessible for all,” said Maria Hudson, Chair of the Sponsorship Committee. “Their partnership helps bring the celebration to Oswego’s waterfront, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to making Harborfest shine year after year.”
Each summer, Harborfest generates a significant economic impact for Oswego by attracting visitors who stay in local hotels, dine at area restaurants, shop at local businesses and experience the city’s waterfront attractions. The festival serves as both a community celebration and an important driver of tourism throughout Central New York.
Beyond financial contributions, many sponsors provide equipment, services, venues, volunteer support, educational exhibits, transportation assistance and operational resources that help Harborfest remain safe, welcoming and accessible to all.
