Harborfest Welcomes National Recording Artists John Waite, Lanie Gardner and Ashley Cooke to the 2026 Festival

37th Annual Harborfest Festival Brings Rock and Country Stars to the Main Stage for a Weekend of Free Live Music

OSWEGO – Oswego Harborfest is excited to welcome three acclaimed national recording artists to this year’s festival, as legendary rocker John Waite, rising country sensation Lanie Gardner, and chart-topping country artist Ashley Cooke headline two unforgettable nights of free live music on the Main Stage at Breitbeck Park.

As Harborfest celebrates its 37th festival, attendees can experience world-class performances along the shores of Lake Ontario—all with free admission.

The featured performances include:

  • Thursday, July 23 – John Waite takes the Constellation Lakeview Stage @ Novelis (Breitbeck) Park from 8:30–10:30 p.m., following an opening performance by Dangerous Type.
  • Friday, July 24 – Nashville singer-songwriter Lanie Gardner performs from 7:00–8:30 p.m. on the Constellation Lakeview Stage @ Novelis (Breitbeck) Park, followed by Ashley Cooke, who closes out the evening with a performance from 9:00–10:30 p.m.

 

John Waite, whose career has spanned more than four decades, is best known for iconic hits including Missing You, Change, and When I See You Smile. His unmistakable voice and enduring catalog have made him one of rock music’s most recognizable performers.

Lanie Gardner has quickly become one of country music’s fastest-rising stars, earning national attention for her powerhouse vocals, songwriting, and fresh blend of country, southern rock, and Americana influences. Her rapid rise has established her as one of Nashville’s most exciting emerging artists.

Ashley Cooke has become one of country music’s brightest new voices, producing multiple hit singles, collaborating with some of the genre’s biggest names, and earning recognition as one of the industry’s most promising young performers. Her energetic live performances and relatable songwriting have earned fans across the country.

Friday features two of country music’s brightest rising stars, Lanie Gardner and Ashley Cooke, for an incredible night of live music. Then on Saturday, we’re proud to present our world-class Grucci Fireworks Spectacular, featuring a special musical tribute celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers can also enjoy an outstanding lineup of performances at East Park and Cahill Pier, making Harborfest a truly unforgettable experience for music fans of all ages.”

Beyond the headline concerts, Harborfest features more than 30 live performances across multiple stages, family-friendly entertainment, a carnival midway, food vendors, children’s activities, water shows, and the festival’s signature Grucci Fireworks Spectacular over Lake Ontario.
