OSWEGO – It’s that time of year again! The Art Association of Oswego (AAO) will be holding their 10th Annual Holiday Art Sale, starting Saturday November 22 and running for three weekends, through Sunday, December 7. The AAO will also be open on Black Friday again this year. The hours during the
sale will be from 10am to 4pm.
This sale is an annual fundraiser for the organization. AAO Treasurer Theresa Bower is reminding the community of the importance of shopping locally this Christmas season. “Come out to the Art Association of Oswego for some wonderful holiday shopping. If you want to shop local, and give some truly unique gifts this year, you will have all kinds of handmade artwork and holiday themed gifts created by local artists to choose from, and at great prices,” Bower said. “You can find original artwork, both small and large. Local artists will offer watercolors, ceramics, calligraphy, sculpture, jewelry, ornaments, greeting cards, and so much more. This year, 20 local artists are participating in the annual event. Shop local for those one-of-a-kind gifts and support the arts in our area. It’s a win- win for all!”
The AAO is located at the corner of East Fourth Street, at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, near the entrance to Fort Ontario. For more information, please visit the AAO website at oswegoarts.org , or find them on Facebook.
