Mexico Middle School To Make Splash With Little Mermaid Jr.

OSWEGO COUNTY – Students and staff from Mexico Middle School have been hard at work for the better part of two months, and the curtain will raise this weekend on their production of The Little Mermaid Jr. with three opportunities to see it.

The show will take place Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., and then Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets will be available for $7 at the door, and the show will be held in Mexico Middle School’s Auditorium.

With music by Alan Menken and the book by Doug Wright, the musical tells the tale of Princess Ariel and the journey to find her legs in this tale based on the Christian Anderson story and Disney film.

The musical is directed by MS chorale and music educator Rebecca Smith, with Alena Fresch as the assistant director and choreographer.
