Oswego Music Hall of Fame, Inc. Announces 2026 Award Inductees

OSWEGO – The Oswego Music Hall of Fame, Inc., would like to announce its 2026 Induction Ceremony which will be held on Sunday, March 29, at 1:00 PM at the Curtis Manor Kingsford room. The award ceremony will feature a buffet dinner of chicken parmesan, ziti, garden salad, rolls, dessert and coffee or tea. Tickets are $50 per person and can only be purchased before the event date. No tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event.

Adding to the excitement, many of this year’s inductees will provide live entertainment, making it an afternoon filled with music, celebration, and inspiration. This year’s induction ceremony features a plethora of inductees who have entertained Oswego County and Central New York for decades.  By honoring this year’s nominees, we celebrate their dedication and the many hours that they have devoted to enriching our lives through their music. Induction into the Oswego Music Hall of Fame, Inc. is our way of giving something back to local musicians and the Oswego music community that they have inspired.

On Sunday March 29, the Induction Ceremony will be hosted by two incredible emcees, Norman Berlin III and Bill “Fuzzy” Wiltsie. Pegasus will be awarded the Joseph P. Spereno Hall of Fame Award for their accomplishments as a progressive rock band. This year’s second Joseph P. Spereno Hall of Fame Award will be awarded to David McGrath for his accomplishments as a singer/songwriter. TG and The Night Ryders will receive an entrainment award for their accomplishments as a soul/Motown band. Kickin’ Up Dust will also receive an entrainment award for their accomplishments as rock band.

Several new award categories will be given out this year including: the first ever agent award will be presented to Frank Kielb (Clyde Barrow), the first Musictarian Award will be given to Michael Moss, the first ever Generations Award will be presented to the McGrath Family and the first Early Influencer award will be given posthumously to Weldon “Slim” Grose. Norman Berlin Jr. will be posthumously awarded an Enrichment Award. Tom McGrath and Beryl Hill will each be presented with an Educator award. This year’s Veteran award will be presented to Luciano Iorizzo. Frank Kielb, David McGrath, Kickin’ Up Dust, Michael Moss, Luciano Iorizzo, and Pegasus will each perform at the induction ceremony.

Tickets must be purchased by March 23rd, 2026, or until they are sold out. Your ticket sales directly fund scholarships for High School Seniors, free music lessons at local Oswego County music schools, and essential resources like musical instruments for Oswego County children. The 2026 Induction Ceremony will feature heartfelt performances by inductees as they shine on their special day. It’s a unique opportunity for friends, family, fans and public to witness the passion and artistry of the award winners while celebrating the legacy of Oswego’s music community.
