PHOENIX, NY – The Phoenix Community Band will perform their Christmas Concert at two different locations during December.
The first concert will be held Dec. 9 at Great Northern Mall at 7 p.m. The second will be held Dec. 15 at JCB High School in Phoenix at 7 p.m. At this concert, half of all donations received will go to the Phoenix Food Pantry.
Under the direction of Dave Frateschi, Director of Bands at the EJD (Phoenix) Middle School, the band will perform new compositions as well as traditional favorites.
“Be sure to join the band at either performance, or both, and get into the holiday spirit,†a spokesperson said. As always, admission is free.
Should weather force cancellation of the Great Northern Mall performance, it cannot be rescheduled. If there is a cancellation of the JCB concert, those interested can visit the band’s Web site at www.phoenixcommunityband.org for information regarding a snow date, which is dependent upon school needs.
