Rocky Horror Show Comes To The CNY Community Arts Center

FULTON – The CNY Community Arts Center is about to do something that’s never been done in Fulton before—bring the cult classic Rocky Horror Show to life in a fully immersive, live on stage, all-encompassing experience!

Directed by Jane Schuessler, an Indigenous,  LGTBQ+, drag and burlesque performer, and longtime theater director and award winning actress. At her side is Joseph Schuessler, Crane graduate and musical director extraordinaire, ensures every note, riff, and rock anthem hits perfectly. The powerhouse couple are known for their productions of Sweeney Todd, Anastasia, and Into the Woods. They are overjoyed to bring the camp, glam, and joy of Rocky Horror to the stage!

From the moment guests walk through the doors, they’ll be greeted by cast members, setting the tone for an interactive night filled with prop bags, callouts, and all the traditions that make this show a worldwide phenomenon!

Speaking of the cast…this cast reflects the very heart of what Rocky Horror is about—queerness, joy, and breaking boundaries! It is stacked with local legends and powerhouse performers!

Dan Williams—drag artist, musician, and icon of the CNY community—takes the stage as the flamboyant Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Theater veteran Korrie Taylor returns as Magenta, reprising a role she once performed with Talent Company. Alongside her is her husband, Josh Taylor, who rocks the stage as Riff Raff and fronts the band The Josh Taylor Project. Gina Mazzoli, acclaimed singer with Whiskey Spirit, director, and actress brings both sweetness and sass to the role of Janet. Augustine Samchisen brings raw energy, vocal fireworks, and androgynous beauty as Rocky. While Sammy Overton delivers a fresh, genderfluid take on Eddie. Kelsie Edson charms, delights, and taps her heart out as Columbia. Don Crowe provides a tongue-in-cheek performance as the Narrator, and Oswego’s own Scott Bandla—well-known across the local theater scene—completes the cast as the eccentric Dr. Scott.

Audiences can expect more than just a show—they can expect a celebration. With a full bar, concessions, prop bags available for purchase, and an atmosphere buzzing with energy, the CNY Community Arts Center promises Fulton an unforgettable night at the theater.
