PULASKI, NY – The Salmon River Fine Arts Center has announced its first annual Artful Trifecta, a three-month community fundraising series for all ages and skill levels, according to a release from the center.

The volunteer-run nonprofit will offer participants an opportunity to create a piece of art in 15 to 30 minutes. Project materials will be prepared ahead of time, leaving participants to add the finishing artistic touches.

The fundraiser will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on the second Saturday of November, December and January at the arts center, 4848 N. Jefferson St. in Pulaski. Participants may purchase tickets in advance and drop in anytime during event hours.

  • November 14, 2026: Paint a Leather Feather. Feathers will be pre-made and laced, ready for participants to paint.
  • December 12, 2026: Glass-on-Glass Ornament. Participants will assemble and glue a colorful ornament to take home or give as a gift.
  • January 9, 2027: Glaze a Ceramic Bowl. The bowls require kiln firing, so participants will return at a later date to pick them up.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online or in person at the arts center. A Trifecta Pass covering all three events costs $60 and is available only in advance. Tickets for individual events cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Complimentary snacks will be provided at each session. The event is open to all ages, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The fundraiser’s message is “Create a little art. Make a big difference!” Proceeds from ticket purchases support the center’s mission.

“What better way to support the arts than by creating something yourself? It’s a fantastic opportunity to have fun, try something new, and help ensure that creativity continues to thrive in our community,” said Judy Van Wie, board president.

The Salmon River Fine Arts Center is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating, engaging and enriching the community through accessible art programs, hands-on workshops and exhibitions.
