SUNY Oswego students and faculty will deliver an early holiday present to the community, the annual “Feast of Carols” concert, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

The event will feature the college’s large and small ensembles, plus student and faculty soloists, performing a fast-moving program of sacred and secular works, said Todd Graber, chair of music at SUNY Oswego.

“It’s nice to celebrate the beginning of the season by getting the whole musical family together,” Graber said. “We’ve been making music separately all semester, so it’s good to get everyone together at the same performance.”

Performers will include the College-Community Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Oswego Jazz Project and soloists including Graber, music faculty member Lisa Kisselstein and student Tamar Greene.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for students, seniors and SUNY Oswego students. Proceeds support the SUNY Oswego Music Department Excellence Fund for scholarships and other initiatives.

Parking is free in campus lots on evenings and weekends.
