OSWEGO – The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of the 2025 Lakeside Statewide Juried Art
Exhibition. This year’s exhibition, the 28th Annual, will begin with a public reception on Saturday,
March 29th, from 7-9 pm at the Oswego Civic Arts Center. The reception is free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be served. Live music will be provided by Very Next Accident. An awards ceremony
will take place at 8 pm.

The Lakeside exhibition provides an annual showcase for new and exciting artwork by fine artists from
across New York State. It offers a display of diverse subjects and artistic styles for area residents to
enjoy. This year, artists submitted nearly 200 entries to be considered for inclusion into the show.
The jurors for this year’s Lakeside exhibit are Billie Jo Peterson, an artist and educator and Robert
Love, an award-winning woodworker.

The Oswego Civic Arts Center is located at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego, at 30
Barbara Donahue Drive, directly across from Fort Ontario. The Lakeside exhibit will be on display
until Sunday, April 27.

Once the show has opened, regular gallery hours are from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturdays, from 1 pm to 4
pm on Sundays and from 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesdays. The exhibition is also available for viewing
by appointment. Group tours are encouraged. For further information please check the Art Association
of Oswego’s website at www.oswegoarts.org or email them at [email protected].
