The Oswego Children’s Theater to Present “Stuart Little” in May

This May the Oswego Children’s Theater will be presenting a production of E.B. White’s classic children’s tale “Stuart Little”. The show is a musical version of the story adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette with music by Ronna Frank.

The show tells the story of a little mouse born into a normal New York family. The mouse, Stuart, takes on the role of a determined “underdog” trying to survive in a “real people’s world. The melodic ballads and exciting chorus numbers, of the score feature such delightful songs as “Paddle Your Own Canoe,” “Feed Him Up,” “Size,” “Stuart Little,” “I’m Headed in the Right Direction” and “Nighttime in New York” (sung by a quartet of cats!).

The show features a cast of local children and adults including Ethan Rando and Juliet Manchester sharing the title role, along with Carl Fisk, Alecia Deaver and Nolan Callahan as the Little family, and Julianna Hernandez as the bird, Margalo, along with a host of others.

“Stuart Little” is slated to be performed the first and second weekends in May at a place yet to be determined. Ticket prices for the show are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students. For reservations and information call (315) 342-5265 or(315) 529 1009.
