The Oswego Players and The Church of the Resurrection will present Neil Simon’s popular comedy “Barefoot in the Park” on the evenings of Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 at the church  The production, directed by veteran director, Inez Manor Parker, is the sixth annual collaboration between the Church of the Resurrection and the Oswego Players.

The show set in the 1960’s follows the adventures of a conservative young lawyer, who is newly  married to a vivacious young woman. Their highly passionate relationship descends into comical discord in a five-flight New York City walk-up apartment.

“Barefoot in the Park” features a cast of local actors including Susan Pierra, Eric Cherchio, Sherrie Baker Nelson Metz, and the father and son team of Norman Berlin Jr. and Norman Berlin III.

“Barefoot in the Park” will be presented in as a dinner theater on the evenings of Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th with dinner being served at 630 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m. The show will be performed at the Church of the Resurrection located at 120 West Fifth Street. in Oswego. The menu consists of a traditional ham and scalloped potato church dinner served family style. Show only tickets will also be available.

The cost of the show is $25.00 per person for dinner and a show and $10.00 for show only. Reservations can be made by calling the Oswego Players box office at 343-5138 . missing or outdated ad config
