The Road to Oz Begins Close to Home

Before there was a yellow brick road, there was a story rooted close to home. Before Oz by Lauren Grove brings that local connection to the stage, exploring the story that inspired L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz.
The familiar characters pictured offer a hint of where that story will lead. But this production invites audiences to look back before the Emerald City and discover the people and places behind a beloved imaginary world. Be prepared to laugh and cry as you experience this epic tale that brought us the world of Oz.
Before Oz will be performed at the APW Jr/Sr High School auditorium on November 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
Also stayed tuned as APW Jr/Sr High School will be performing the Wonderful Wizard of Oz the musical in Spring to follow up this awesome play.
