Family and Friends Weekend to showcase SUNY Oswego student talent

OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego students will share their talents and campus with visitors from Oct. 24 to 26, during the college’s 2014 Family and Friends Weekend.

The annual extravaganza — with many activities free and open to the public — will include a wide variety of scholarly, creative and athletic talents across campus, along with entertainment, tours and recreational activities.

Family and Friends Weekend at SUNY Oswego, this year taking place Oct. 24 to 26, can include some unexpected fun. At last year's event, "Officer" Katie Ranno, right, a junior broadcasting and mass communication major, keeps an eye on her parents, Barbie and Larry Ranno, in a photo novelty offered by Endeavor Entertainment of Syracuse. On Oct. 25, at this year's Friends and Family Weekend, attendees can saunter down a red carpet for photo mementos, among many other activities.
