We have never written a letter to the editor, but feel compelled to write this one.
Greg Gilbert is running for Supreme Court in the 5th Judicial District, which covers Onondaga, Oswego, Oneida, Jefferson, Lewis, and Herkimer counties.
He has been our attorney for more than 15 years and we can tell you we have many experiences with him as our attorney.
We can tell you from our heart he is smart, knows the law and goes the extra mile to help because he cares. He is very well qualified for this position.
You could not ask for a more knowledgeable, honest, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, respectable, down to earth person who treats everyone equal.
He resides and has been an attorney in Oswego since 1992 and we know that he would definitely make a great Supreme Court Judge.
He has the highest rating with the Jefferson County Bar, Oswego, Oneida, Onondaga County bar and Central Women’s Bar Association along with being past president of Oswego County Bar.
He’s a native of Watertown/Carthage and graduate from Immaculate Heart Central High School.
Also, he was named to New York Super Lawyers three times.
We feel you could not ask for a better Supreme Court Judge than Greg Gilbert to serve the 5th Judicial District.
He would make the transition to be the Supreme Court Judge for all families.
Four are running for this position and two will be elected and we are asking everyone to consider voting for him as one of the two.

Don’t really know this Greg Gilbert but I did check out his claim of being a Super Lawyer. It says that it is unethical for a Lawyer to claim this title during any campaigning because the criteria to be on this list doesn’t have anything to do with their ability to be a lawyer. It’s like being the winner in a one man race. Ethics are critical in being a Supreme Court Justice …By claiming this during a campaign when he shouldn’t ,he has shown where his ethics are. Sorry but not my choice.
