FULTON, NY – The Fulton Area Snow Travelers are a snowmobile club in Fulton.
They have hosted the Whiteout Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Show and Swapmeet for four years.
This year’s event will be held on Feb. 8 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Fulton War Memorial, 609 West Broadway, Fulton.
The whiteout is a vintage show – swapmeet – races and trailride.
On Feb. 7, they will have a buffet and show sled movies at RFH’S restaurant in Phoenix.
The show and swapmeet starts at 8 a.m. Feb. 8. Admission is $10 per person and vendor fee is $20.
To show a sled is either $10 or $15 (any amount of sleds).
You get a shirt, coffee cup and dash plaque.
Plus a chance to win a trophy.
The whiteout is the largest winter vintage event in the east.
They take a portion of the proceeds and give to local charities. The group has four scholarships, Fulton CYO, Children’s Hospital, etc.
“Hopefully, Mother Nature will give us some good ice for our racing this year on the lake,” a spokesperson said.
People from as far as Chicago, Canada, Minnesota come to the whiteout event.
