FULTON, NY – The CYO Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County invites area youth and their families to enjoy some Halloween fun, as it hosts a pair of Halloween parties.

On October 26 the CYO will host a Family Halloween Party from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. There will be a variety of games and activities including: pumpkin toss, candy corn bowling, ring toss, coloring pages, bag decorating, and more.

Later that evening from 7 to 9 there will be a Halloween Dance and Costume Contest for students in grades 7 – 12. Both Halloween parties will offer complimentary light refreshments and prizes for the scariest, most creative, cutest and funniest costumes.

Program Coordinator, Stacie Roberts and her staff are looking forward to this year’s Halloween events.

“The parties are fun and they provide children with an opportunity to enjoy the festivities of Halloween in a friendly and safe environment. The children enjoy dressing up and it’s great to see all the different costumes and the amount of work and imagination that goes into making them. All families are urged to attend and enjoy some Halloween fun,” said Roberts.

All Halloween activities will be held at the CYO’ new location in the vacant St. Michael’s Church, at the corner of West Third and Beech streets in Fulton.

The CYO Program is funded in part by United Way of Greater Oswego County, New York State Office of Children and Family Services through the Oswego City/County Youth Bureau, Diocesan Hope Appeal, and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
