Granby Students Celebrate Flag Day

GRANBY – In honor of Flag Day, students at Granby Elementary School held a school-wide assembly.

VFW members, Charles Callen and Bob LaRock attended with First Ward Alderman, Alan Emrich as special guests.

They led the Posting of the Colors before students led the school in the National Anthem, presented the history of the flag and read the Preamble of the Constitution.

The ceremony concluded with primary students singing You’re a Grand Old Flag.
