Health Department Announces Clinic Schedule for Week of July 9

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified home health care, long-term home health care, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.

The following services will be offered during the week of July 9 at the Nick Sterio Public Health Center, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.

Those who are covered by Medicaid or Medicare Part B should bring their cards to the clinic.

No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

OSWEGO:

HIV Testing: Monday, July 9, 9 to 11:30 a.m., appointment needed. Call 349-3547 to schedule.

Immunization Clinic: Tuesday, July 10, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., walk-in clinic.

Pregnancy Testing: Free pregnancy testing is available. Call 349-3391 to schedule an appointment.

Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing and Treatment Services: Call 349-3547 to schedule an appointment.

RABIES CLINIC:

Oswego County residents may have their dogs, cats and pet ferrets vaccinated against rabies from 6 to 8 p.m. July 11, at the Oswego County Highway Garage, Dill Pickle Alley, Parish.

Pet owners should bring their pet’s last rabies vaccination certificate to the clinic.
