OSWEGO, NY – Because business owners are so busy managing the current needs of their businesses, few give the long term future much consideration.
In this session, we will take time out to discuss the importance of planning for the future of your business, and what you need to be thinking about.
Kelly Sullivan, SPHR, of CSTI-Core Skills, True Impact, will guide us as we look at our business from a different perspective to decide if it will live on without us at the next Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training’s monthly breakfast meeting, May 5 at 8 a.m. at Operation Oswego County, 44 W. Bridge St.
You will learn the keys to succession planning, along with the five steps of succession planning. We will also discuss what goes into a contingency plan, the merits of apprenticeship and how to manage the loss of control.
Sullivan is a strategic consultant, trainer, coach, and catalyst for change.
Owning her business since 1996, she has worked with manufacturers, universities, service-sector businesses and non-profit organizations to help them harness the potential of their people to meet their strategic goals.
She has helped organizations develop employees, build skills, execute strategy, enhance leadership capability, improve collaboration and cultivate customer relationships; all leading to gains in key business metrics.
