Kayak package up for grabs

Organizers of the Oswego “Rock the Locks” Paddlefest will draw a Perception Prodigy 12 kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device, valued at more than $700, at the Paddlefest  June 29.

Paddlers will travel through the locks Saturday morning from Minetto to Lock 8 in Oswego.

Refreshments, live music, children’s games, vendors and other activities will start at noon near Lock 7.

The kayak package was donated by Murdock’s Sports and Pinnacle Construction of Oswego.

Proceeds from the drawing will benefit the Oswego YMCA Strong Kids campaign and Harborfest.

Paddlers may pre-register online at www.ezracereg.com or register beginning at 8 a.m. June 29 at Riverview Park in Minetto.
