Leighton Elementary Plans Benefit Breakfast

OSWEGO, NY – The Frederick Leighton Elementary School Home and School Association will hold its 15th annual “All You Can Eat” Full Breakfast with the generous support of the Oswego Elks Lodge.

The event will take place at the Oswego Elks Lodge on June 7 from 8:30 a.m. – noon.

The cost will be $7 for adults and children 14 and older; $5 for seniors and children 4-13; free for children 3 and younger.

Raffles donated from area businesses will be held.

All proceeds fund the circus activities planned and presented by the PE teachers at FLS.

Larry Rundle and Doug Young return to Leighton each year to work the students teaching kids circus activities.

They teach circus skills to the students as part of the physical education program.

Some of the exciting parts of the program include juggling, balancing skills, plate-spinning, stilt walking, circus sticks, and clowning.

The children practice all week in PE class and the event wraps up with a school-wide performance by the sixth grade.

FLS Home and School Association appreciates the support of the community in helping home and school associations across the district fund special programming at their schools.

We work with our schools to provide the best educational experience possible.

Together we can continue to provide these exciting opportunities for our students.
