OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Public Library’s Library Learning Center will offer a Networking Basics workshop on August 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.
In this free class, the instructor will discuss the Open Systems Interconnection model, network topology, basic hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
No previous experience with networks is necessary.
The Oswego Public Library is also featuring iPad Basics, Library Databases, Intro to Genealogy, and Facebook.
Times and dates are as follows:
August 6 – iPad Basics 2 – 4 p.m.
August 20 – Library Databases 2 – 4 p.m.
August 23 – Intro to Genealogy 10 a.m. – noon.
August 31 – Facebook 1 – 3 p.m.
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library, and is open Monday-Saturday.
All programs are free and open to the public.
