At the end of the yard sale, Oswego SPCA volunteers arrived to collect leftover items to use in their annual garage sale fundraiser on Saturday, May 27.

Additionally, most of the clothing that was not sold will be donated to the Oswego Industries “Dress for Success” program.

The “Dress for Success” program provides professional- and interview-appropriate clothing so that people supported by Oswego Industries can look their best when going through the process of securing a new job.

Oswego Industries executive director Laurie Davis volunteered at the yard sale and helped load the items donated to SPCA.

“There are a lot of people – and animals – that need support in our community,” she said.  “It’s great when our agency has an opportunity to help another non-profit organization raise funds for their mission.”

Tickets to win an antique quilt and an Adirondack chair were also available at Oswego Industries yard sale and that raffle drawing date has been extended to June 6.

Tickets are available for purchase at Oswego Industries main site, located at 7 Morrill Place in Fulton between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays.

Call (315) 598-3108 for more information.

The raffle will be drawn on June 6 and the lucky winner does not have to be present to win.
