‘Magic’ Draws Large Crowd In Minetto

MINETTO, NY – Magic in Minetto celebrated its eleventh year over the weekend.

It was a huge success, providing entertainment for the many families and people that attended.

Magic is a community and family event featuring crafts, face painting, air hop and ice cream sundaes, all free for the children.

A food booth was operated by members of the Methodist Church.

Music was provided by the Dave Domicolo Band and the Country Cruizers exhibited their cars.

Historical photos and information were displayed by the Minetto History Buffs.

Oswego County Opportunities offered health and wellness information.

The American Legion, Minetto Fire Department and Neighborhood Watch shared information about their organizations and programs.

The fire department’s new aerial ladder truck was on display.

Magic culminated with a fun canoe/kayak and paddle board race.

Entrants padded a one-mile or one and a half-mile course on the river.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Minetto Fire Department and a volunteer boat provided safety for the paddlers.

Many thanks to all the volunteers that participated in Magic In Minetto!
